Role Description The Business Analyst collaborates with the Product Owner on requirements, business value scoring and success metrics. The BSA drives the requirements gathering process that accurately reflects business needs which includes: risk analysis, as is and to be process documentation, agnostic of a specific technical solution. The BSA reviews technical solutions for compliance to business process and objectives. The BSA coordinates end to end UAT cycle. The BSA develops organizational change management framework; group/functional success metrics acceptance criteria. RESPONSIBILITIES: Contributes to system changes with configuration design and updates in pre-production and production environments Utilizing various modeling techniques such as process modeling, data modeling, system modeling. Facilitation skills for meeting, requirements, planning and management. Guide internal customers through the entire project lifecycle Negotiate detailed requirement and solution design trade-offs Contribute to cross-functional and cross-technical dependency management Provide guidance to the portfolio roadmap for other teams/functions Anticipate and communicate blockers, conflicts, and obstacles Connect-the-dots between business strategies and project deliverables Leads the writing of Acceptance Criteria Owns business process design & documentation Business Requirements Planning as related to the tasks associated with business analysis and software development lifecycle (waterfall, iterative, Agile). Demonstrates deep subject matter expertise in the jobs of the business users in scope. Coordinates and contributes to UAT, test execution & defect/change tracking Contributes to business process design & documentation Works with business partners in writing and owning functional requirements Functional expert for a business process and use cases Takes an active interest in the jobs of the business users to better understand, interpret and document technology requirements. May have previous experience performing the job of the business users. Collaboratively plans feature/function testing across modules for a business process MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 8+ years experience as a business systems analyst, Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience 1+ years experience Salesforce platform Subject matter expert (SME) in either Data governance & security or Revenue opportunity optimization Participate in feature assessment, requirements gathering & documentation and use case definitions for functional initiatives Assist with operational process flows and solution designs Contributes to feature/function test objectives and scope Assists with user acceptance test planning, execution and management Troubleshooting, facilitating issue resolution, and suggesting functional workarounds Stakeholder Analysis identifying the stakeholders who will be impacted by the change and understand their influence and authority levels. Elicitation such as questioning techniques to gather information at the right level of detail and scope to represent all of the stakeholders needs, and the ability to ask questions that lead to an understanding of the business need rather than what they want. Communicating Requirements including the use of presentation skills and the ability to create a requirements package. Organizational Analysis to identify current capabilities and identify opportunities for improvement. Utilizing various modeling techniques such as process modeling, data modeling, system modeling. Interface analysis, the understanding of technology infrastructure and how it interconnects, including sharing data to achieve a business goal. Writing requirements using different approaches such as use cases and activity diagrams User experience, knowing how a user interface helps the user to successfully complete a task, also known as usability. Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 8+ years experience, Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience 2+ years experience Salesforce platform knowledge Subject matter expertise in Planning, Commissioning, Renewals, Quota, and Sales Compensation Data analysis expertise, ideally with SOQL (SQL expertise and/or deep Salesforce reporting experience is also acceptable) Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies
